Which System Will You Choose? CarbonCopyPro or MyLeadSystemPRO?

The two main attraction marketing platforms online are CarbonCopyPRO and MyLeadSystemPRO. On first glance they appear to be the same thing, but the truth is more complex. I’m a member of both, and wrote this review help you sort it out.

When searching for a lead generation system or an online marketing training program, two competing platforms are in the forefront. MyLeadSystemPRO and CarbonCopyPRO are both highly successful and visible to the online marketing community. They are both attraction marketing platforms with in-depth marketing training, and both are membership organizations.

The similarity of names and approaches has caused quite a bit of confusion among those looking for a solution to their online lead generation and business needs. Through this explanation, I’d like to clear things up so that you can make an informed decision before committing to either one.

For starters, let me say that I started my online marketing education with CarbonCopyPRO back in 2008, before MLSP existed. Back then, CCPRO was a lead generation system designed to sell the products of a single company, Wealth Masters International (WMI)

Over the years, CCPRO became a more generic marketing platform, and extended it’s education to serve marketers who were affiliated with companies other than WMI. They also developed a strong program called PRO University, which serves the needs of traditional (brick-and-mortar) business owners as well as network marketers and direct marketers.

Late in 2010, CCPRO broadened their PRO U line by introducing a new, retail-oriented line of financial education products. The new products are sold via an affiliate program which any CCPRO member may sign up for, whether they market any other products or companies online or not.

MyLeadSystemPRO was started by some of CarbonCopyPRO’s top earners, which somewhat explains similarities in style. MLSP was started while CCPRO was still a program devoted to WMI. It filled the need for a generic top-quality lead generation/attraction marketing program, and targeted network marketers working with any MLM company.

MLSP stays true to its original mission, and does not offer its own branded affiliate programs, other than giving members commissions on memberships and some services. CCPRO does that, too.

Both programs have a variety of third-party affiliate programs built into their systems, allowing members to receive streams of income designed to offset membership and marketing costs.

Both companies provide daily live marketing training, and have extensive archives of past presentations. The main difference is that MLSP’s presentations are all designed to appeal to the recruiting and lead generation needs of network marketers, while CCPRO’s training can usually be applied to ANY business seeking to get online exposure or generate leads.

Several CCPRO members have used their marketing education to start marketing and consulting services for small business owners. I have taken that route also, creating an additional income stream by helping a few local business owners get more customers.

Aside from the focus on business marketing, another reason people choose CCPRO is that they are focused on direct sales, and are looking for a high-ticket/ high profit sales opportunity. The PRO-U affiliate program fits that need, with commission levels up to twenty thousand dollars per sale.

I joined MLSP when it first started, as a way to have a separate sales funnel for marketing my WMI business to existing MLM reps. The program worked very well in that respect, and still does. I was able to offer network marketers valuable training on how to generate leads for their existing companies, and then introduce them to my opportunity once we had established a working relationship. (That’s part of what attraction marketing can do.)

At the same time, I continued to use CCPRO to market to business owners and to those who are actively looking for an income opportunity. This dual approach is ideal for exposing a business opportunity to a broader market of entrepreneurs.

One caveat is that attempting to start working both platforms simultaneously will most likely lead to frustration, confusion and burn-out. So here is my advice:

If you are a traditional business owner looking to get more customers, CarbonCopyPRO has what will benefit you the most; If you are a network marketer who wants to have access to high-ticket affiliate sales opportunities, start with CarbonCopyPRO and then, when you are comfortable with that system, branch out and add MyLeadSystemPRO as an additional sales funnel and education source; If you are totally focused on growing your current MLM company and want to learn how to generate leads and hone your prospecting and closing skills, MyLeadSystemPRO is for you.
