School can be a trying time for young children, especially if they do not know how to make friends. Yet, as you know some react less favorably and also with fear of separation from their parents. This is where you may want to speak with the school and teachers, especially, in addition to being proactive in your response. Most of the time, you can tell if your child will have a hard time so it is a good idea to talk with them beforehand. To reduce the overall negative impact this may have on your kid, talk to them before they go to school.
Not so many years ago, many teen boys choose to join the military after high school graduation. Now many teen girls are also choosing to serve their country in the military. While joining the military is a decision many recent high school graduates make, going to college is the more popular of the two.
If your son or daughter has committed to a life in the military, it’s vital he or she gets all the positive encouragement you can give. Teens who choose to sign up for military service often feel good about their decision. Teens who sign up for the military are often emotionally prepared for leaving home when its time. Build up your child’s confidence in his or her decision to enlist by letting them know you support his or her decision.
To be a good parent, all you have to do is have a good attitude and be consistent with your kids. Kids will always end up better off when they come from a family that is not critical and provides love and guidance.
