Inside Game of Thrones airs on HBO
Prior to tonight’s Boardwalk Empire season finale, HBO aired a 15-minute behind-the-scenes look at Game of thrones dvd, entitled Inside Game Of Thrones. The special also included advance looks at some of HBO’s other upcoming series’ however the bulk of the time was spent on Thrones. We have the full video of all the new Thrones goodness right here:
Winter Is Coming: So great to see so many characters for the first time! It will take some time to digest all this new footage. Share your initial thoughts and reactions here and we’ll be back with a more detailed look later.
UPDATE 1: HBO has provided a link to the YouTube version of the video. Tor.com has some screen caps from the video.
UPDATE 2: It seems the video HBO posted on their website is slightly shorter than the version shown on TV. Edited for time most likely. At any rate, here is the FULL VIDEO as shown on HBO which includes an additional 1 minute and 46 seconds of footage!
UPDATE 3: Screen capping Inside Game of Thrones box set has been going on in earnest all day. Two of the best sites to check for some great stills from last night’s video: Westeros, which has excellent commentary accompanying each shot; and Finnish fan site Tulen ja jään laulu, which has the most and best looking screen caps I have seen.
